Project Life - Week 30

I simply cannot believe we are at week 30 already, crazy!

I had a blast working on this weeks spread, it went together quickly which I like, mainly because its practically all digital, very little paper crafting and we all know I work faster on the computer.  Not to mention lots of Olympic festivities to document this week which was super fun to include.

Here is a look at the whole spread

and the whole left side

I used one of the cuts from my banner for the title card.  It needed to be there this week.

One thing I did this past week was spend some time turning some of the Studio Calico cut files and brushes into .png files so I could use them digitally.  The ticket was a cut file and the quote was a brush.  I could have left the brushes as they were but I like to use .png files better than brushes, it's simply a time saver for me.

The slot is all about our day by the pool last Sunday, it was a hot one!

Sunday was also the day I posted my 1,000th photo to Instagram so it warranted a mention.  The Insta Camera was a cut file that I turned into a .png file.

We also went back to the gym this past week, I bet they thought we forgot them.  We've been so bad, time to be better!

I got a spam email from you know who, had to include that.  Perhaps he was seeking money since his IPO isn't doing so well...?

I also love the new Refreshers from Starbucks, so I added them as well.

The bottom wasn't intended to be all about one thing but the photos were all about Simone and her art play so it just seemed to work.

Here is a look at the right side

I found Simone making her own sandwich this past week.  She is growing up so fast!

We spent the evening at the park for the Strauss Festival, it was wonderful as usual.  This time my in-laws joined us, they had never seen it and they loved it.

A trip to the Dentist, not a fan these days and a lunch day out for us.

I'm kind of becoming obsessed with using a hashtag to tell the story instead of long words.  Kind of fits with what's going on these days.  Same for the geotag.

Someone in our house is crazy in love with Sponge Bob and its not Larry or me.  Don't judge but yes we had to have a Happy Meal, I mean the box is so cute right!  The Instpic frame was a cut file that I turned into a .png.

A disappointing first day at the Olympics and a competitor with my maiden name, crazy!

I wanted to include a bunch of photos from the Opening Ceremonies so I made myself another little flip up.  Again I used another cut that was used on my banner for the cover.

On the top half I made a photo collage and jammed it full with 16 photos from the show.  A great way to capture a lot especially if the image quality isn't that great, tiny photos just look better!  I added journaling to the bottom.  Erica Hernandez gave away the journaling cards on her blog and I merged two to make a 6 x 4 card.  Her designs are so amazing!

Saturday Larry went out with his buddies to see the Sacramento Mile Motorcycle race.  He had a blast and they all had a great time.

I should have lots to include next week, we have family coming for a visit for the next few weeks so I'm sure it will be crazy busy around here, if I'm late posting or you don't see me for a few days, you'll know why.
