Featuring Kelly Purkey Shop │ August Shop Update

Hello everyone, today is the shop update over at Kelly Purkey shop so I wanted to share what I made with this months kits and stamp sets. I loved the kits this month and made a small mini book using this months special mini kit.

The first project I made was a Travelers Notebook spread using the At The Vineyard stamp set and the Roosevelt alpha stamp set. I used papers from the Take Care travelers notebook kit as well.

The second project I made took a little more time but I was able to finish the bulk of this mini album in a day using the stamps and papers from the Back To School mini kit designed by LifeLovePaper. I love making small mini books for back to school pictures and this one turned out super cute. I just love the illustrations Tina creates and they add so much to the finished album and the projects end up requiring so much less embellishments because of them. They are just too cute.

I loved stamping the rainbow of pencils directly on to vellum. I love how it looks from the front and from the back. I added in a few stamps from the Take Care Travelers Notebook kit and from the Yes main kit as accents throughout the project. For this label I cut apart the Yes, Yes & Yes stamp so it would fit in a horizontal space instead of a vertical space.

I also added in an accent on this page using the Today Is stamp set. I love the circles and especially love that they fit on the 6x8 label sticker sheet circles.

I hope you enjoyed the shop update and found lots of fun stuff to add to your craft collection!

See you soon,

Carnival Fun and Summer Clearance Sale

Hey everyone, I'm popping on really quickly to share another quick Travelers Notebook spread I made and to let you know of a sale happening at Kelly Purkey Shop.

Note: This post contains affiliate links, which means I receive a small commission if you make a purchase using the links below. There is no additional cost to you if you use these links.

When I was making projects using the latest Kelly Purkey shop release there was one stamp set, Festival that I really wanted to use. I didn't get it done for the shop release but it was on my desk begging to be used. I just loved the carnival rides on the stamp set and I had this really old photo of my daughter from 2013 that is still to this day one of my favorite photos. I had documented the day previously in a pocket page spread but I knew this photo would look great in a Travelers Notebook too. Plus whats not to love about this pastel dream world.

I found some of Kelly's previous cards that matched the colors and stamped the fair rides in black and fussy cut around them so they would stand out more. I also cut up some of the cards to make flags to dress up the top edge of the page.

I added a few of the stamps directly onto the photo to highlight my daughter, I just love her hand in the air.

Lastly I wanted to mention that Kelly is also having an End of Summer clearance sale, it starts today 8/15 and runs thru 8/18. Its a great chance to grab some old kits, stamp sets and card packs. The link to the sale section is right here.

I hope you enjoy your official days of summer. I know we are trying to max out on all the fun we can before school starts back.

Thanks for being here!!
