Playing a bit of catch up today with two posts.
First up Day 11. My sister in law is in town and its been awhile since everyone has been together at Christmastime so I made sure to get some pictures.
Here is the spread
It nice to have a photo of Delaine and her three kids this time of year. While we were all gathered around the table I asked them a question and wrote down their answers. I thought it would be fun to pay homage to their family here in a fun way. I'll be doing more with this for sure but it was fun to put it down for December. The pattern paper on the right is from Rhonna Farrer's holiday kit. I took the colors for the word block from it.
Here is the front of the insert, kept it simple.
And the back, I added a little bit about what this was all about. Merry Christmas word art, also from Rhonna Farrer, the little veneer alpha is Studio Calico, love it so.
Day 12
Yesterday my sister in law and I did some Christmas shopping but I didn't take a ton of photos so I decided to save the shopping story for later. I wanted to document this book I had read so it was perfect for yesterday.
The page protector from day 11 on the left was a two slot one and I didn't really want to use that so I just took a piece of woodgrain cardstock, stitched several straight and zig zag lines with my gold thread and added some red glitter Thickers and just adheared the whole page directly on top of the page protector. The holly leaves are Martha Stewart last year. The right side is really simple just a print of the book cover and a digital poinsettia from the Kringle & Co. digital kit.
Here is the insert
The 12 Days card was from Kelly's kit, I just wrapped it around the vellum also from her kit. On the back I added a crate number and a little journaling tag.
I hope you days eleven and twelve went well too!
