Featuring Kelly Purkey Shop │ June Shop Release

I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July! Its been non stop around here the past few weeks since right before my daughter got out of school. I'm happy that the holiday is over and we can settle into our summer and take things a bit slower.

The Kelly Purkey Shop release was at the end of June and everything sold out incredibly fast. The kits are just about gone but the stamp sets are up for preorder so if you are interested act fast because they will more than likely not be back after a second reorder. The release was filled with travel themed kits and stamp sets and while I did use the kits and stamps to document some travel I hope I can give you a little inspiration to think outside the box and use the stamps and kits for things other than travel.

The first project I made with the kits was completely inspired by Pheobe Buffay, I just loved her lobster analogy so I thought it would be a fun travelers notebook spread using the At the Coast stamp set and the Travel Favorites Travelers Notebook kit. I stamped a repeated pattern alternation a little bit and lifting and coloring in the last little lobster so it stood out.

My next project was an homage to our great state. I just loved the bear in the Roam stamp set and paired it with a few elements from the Sweet Liberty mini kit stamp set to recreate our state flag. I loved the little line of bears and stars along the edges of my photos.

I loved the tiny icons from the Travel Favorites Travelers Notebook kit and added them to my title page on a pocket page spread about our recent trip to San Diego. I used cards from the Road Trip main kit, stamps from the Travel Favorites kit and cards from the Sweet Liberty Mini kit to create this spread.

Lastly I created a simple pocket page spread using the Sweet Liberty Mini kit, I loved the flag stamps and had fun creating my own using elements from the stamp set. I also stamped using my favorite Moonlight White ink on a photo and directly on to a card.

I hope you loved the release and I hope that you have an amazing summer and have the best time documenting it all.
