Featuring Kelly Purkey Shop │ September shop update

Hello everyone, can you believe its FALL! I'm pretty much in denial even though we have already put up our Halloween decorations. Its pretty much a downward spiral into the holidays and I'm ready for it but I still feel like I need to stop, lean on a wall and catch my breath. The good thing is that the Kelly Purkey Shop update is so awesome this month and filled with so many fall things. I have another project planned that I didn't get to in time for the release but I'll share the stamp set below so you can see how awesome it is.

First up is the main kit this month, it's called Face Time and I just loved it. It was perfect for documenting a lunch date I had last year with some local scrapbooking friends. I'm sure some of them will be familiar to you, two of them are also on Kelly's creative team.

Kelly has been really killing it lately with the sticker sheets she is including in her kits and this five person friend sticker could not have been more perfect.

The next project I made was a travelers notebook spread about the fall fashions I have been pinning and gathering for the upcoming season. I can't wait for it to be cool enough to wear some of  my new things so until then I'll just look at pretty pictures and dream of cooler temps. This spread uses a mix of several stamp sets, I used the new Oxford alpha stamp set, the All the Layers stamp set, stamps from the New Season stamp set and two cards from the main Face Time kit.

I really wanted to use the bold lower case Oxford alpha to stamp out a list of some of the key elements I plan to have in my fall wardrobe and love how the boldness plays off of the grid of Pinterest images on the left.

I absolutely adore the people stamp sets that LifeLovePaper designs, its like playing with paper dolls and you can create so many fun combinations. I really wanted to use one on this spread so I ended up making it like a little die cut and left room on my journaling card so I could adhere it to the edge. That search box card from the Face Time kit was the perfect card to use and the sentiment on the All the Layers stamp set fit perfectly.

The next project I want to make is using the stamp set in the Halloween Mini kit. I spent a considerable chunk of money in Trader Joe's the other day buying all of the pumpkin things so I can't wait to document that using this kit. Its not just for Halloween which I love. There plenty of Pumpkin Love in this kit.

I hope you enjoyed the release and just to give you a heads up, Kelly's Holiday kits go on sale on October 8th and I have seen them and they are AWESOME! I'll be back to share more about that soon.
